Activities
Activities are a vital part of any residents’ quality of life. Whether it is one on one interaction with staff, volunteers or group activities, the activities department creates activities on individual needs. Activities could be an outing, shopping, dinner out, church and spiritual communion, and cultural events.Lawrence Convalescent Center’s long standing relationship with the Sunnyside Neighborhood and Glencoe School provides interaction with the children from the school. The neighboring senior center located in the Multicultural building 1½ blocks west of the facility provides social interaction with the community. Located at SE 48th and SE Belmont St. Lawrence Convalescent Center is located close by and is convenient for family and friends to visit.
