Activities

Activities are a vital part of any resident's quality of life. Whether it is one on one interaction with staff or group activities, the activities department designs activities based on the individual's needs. The activity program plans outings, church services, and cultural events for the enjoyment of the residents as well as to maintain their social and spiritual wellbeing.

Lawrence Convalescent Center's long standing relationship with the Sunnyside Neighborhood and Glencoe School provides interaction with the children from the school. The neighboring senior center located in the Department of Health Services Multicultural Building provides an opportunity for social interaction with the community. Located at SE 48th Ave and Belmont St. Lawrence Convalescent Center is located close by and is convenient for family and friends to visit.
